Abstract:
In order to deal with the problems of the current coal shearer anti-collision technology, such as significant susceptibility to environmental influences, large visual blind spots, poor control system stability, and high communication delay, this study takes the intelligent working face of Xiaobaodang Coal Mine as the research object. A method of installing millimeter-wave radars on the left and right rocker arms of the shearer to sense the spatial position between the shearer and hydraulic supports is proposed. After analysis, a 77 GHz frequency band radar is selected, the radar module structure is designed, and the Kalman filtering algorithm is adopted to eliminate noise in radar echo data. The results show that the radar meets the requirements of a detection range of more than 9 m and a detection angle of ≥±30°. After filtering, the peak value of the static output signal is reduced by 2.9 cm, effectively improving the detection accuracy. Installing millimeter-wave radars combined with the Kalman filtering algorithm can enhance the safety factor of the shearer's autonomous operation and its autonomous obstacle avoidance capability, providing support for the safe and efficient mining of intelligent working faces.
