Abstract:
This study takes Zhujiamao Coal Mine as the research object, and conducts a numerical simulation investigation into the mine pressure characteristics and support selection issues in shallow coal seam mining under loess gully terrain. The aim is to analyze the variation patterns of mine pressure in the gully area of Zhujiamao Coal Mine and to explore the applicability of different support types under these geological conditions, thereby providing a theoretical basis for safe and efficient mining. A numerical model was established using FLAC
3D finite element software to simulate the stress distribution of the coal and rock mass at different advance distances of the working face, and the influence of mine pressure on support selection was analyzed. The results show that as the working face advances, the stress concentration zone in front of the coal wall continuously expands, and the tensile stress above the goaf gradually affects the ground surface, with the mine pressure exhibiting considerable complexity under gully topography. Based on these mine pressure characteristics, this paper recommends the adoption of a two-leg shield hydraulic support. This support type offers distinct advantages in terms of balanced loading, simple structure, and strong adaptability, enabling it to effectively address mine pressure issues and ensure safe mining at the working face. The research provides a technical reference for support selection and mine pressure management in similar mines.
