Abstract:
To objectively and scientifically prevent coal spontaneous combustion risks, the spontaneous combustion hazard in the goaf of Qianyingzi Coal Mine was analyzed. Through temperature-programmed experiments, the generation patterns of gas components such as CO and C

4 during coal spontaneous combustion were examined, and a four-level early warning system comprising heat accumulation, slow temperature rise, rapid temperature rise, and combustion stages was defined. Using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, a coal spontaneous combustion hazard assessment model for Qianyingzi Coal Mine was constructed, with 4 first-level evaluation indices and 11 second-level evaluation indices determined. The weight of each index was established via the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The calculated spontaneous combustion hazard score for the goaf of Qianyingzi Coal Mine is 0.287, corresponding to a “relatively safe” hazard level. Through underground buried pipe monitoring of indicator gas concentrations and ambient temperature in the goaf, and by comparing the results with the established early warning system, the accuracy of the evaluation outcomes was verified.
