Abstract:
The surrounding rock in the rock roadways of the Hengyuan Coal and Power mining area is extremely hard, resulting in poor cutting advance and excessively low single-cycle progress, with monthly advance rates of only about 90 meters. This severely impacts the development and replacement schedule of roadways. This paper proposes the six-directional energy-gathering blasting technology. This technology generates a wide range of blast-induced fractures in the primary cutting area, transforming the hard rock into fractured and loosened rock mass, thereby providing a favorable free surface for secondary cutting.Ultimately, this enhances cutting depth and achieves the goal of improving drilling and blasting excavation progress.Through theoretical analysis, numerical simulations, and field tests, the study demonstrates that this technology can effectively enhance drilling and blasting advance rates in hard rock conditions.
