Abstract:
Aiming at the problems of complex geological structure and insufficient accuracy of previous exploration results in the 22-panel area of Balasu Coal Mine, this study adopts 3D seismic exploration technology to systematically study regional geological structure characteristics. The results show that there are five small normal faults(drop <5 m) in the region, mainly EW/N-S strike, with a maximum extension length of 150 m, which has limited influence on coal seam mining. The floor of coal seam No.2, 3 and 8 has gentle fluctuation(dip Angle 0°~5°), and the east and west are opposite inclined direction, which is consistent with the shape of adjacent coal seams. The thickness of No.2 coal seam is 4.4~5.3 m(thick in the west and thin in the east), No.3 coal seam is 4.3~6.5 m(thick-thin-thickness change), and No.8 coal seam is 1.4~1.7 m(thick in the north and thin in the south). No catastrophic geological bodies such as collapse columns and magmatic rocks were found. The study provides important geological basis for the mining and design of the 22-panel of Balasu Coal Mine.
