Abstract:
In order to determine the reasonable width of coal pillars in the 1502 working face section of Shanxi Heshun Zhengbang Shenlei Coal Industry, theoretical calculations, numerical simulations, and field practices were used to study the stress evolution law and plastic zone failure of surrounding rock under different coal pillar widths, and the support measures for roadway surrounding rock was proposed.The results show that the reasonable width range of the coal pillar in the section is 8.6m to 10.1 m through theoretical calculations.A numerical calculation model is established to comprehensively analyze the plastic failure zone, vertical stress, and displacement of the surrounding rock.Finally, the reasonable width of the coal pillar is determined to be 10 m, and support methods such as anchor rods, anchor cables, and steel wire mesh are used for support.Through on-site practice, the maximum stress on the roof anchor rod and anchor cable of roadway is 83 kN and 122 kN,respectively.The maximum displacement of the roof and floor of roadway surrounding rock and the two sides of the surrounding rock are 45 mm and 110 mm, respectively, with relatively smaller deformation of the surrounding rock, which can ensure safe production.
